PROGRAMS FOR STUDENTS

Each year, HGHREC sponsors several programs designed for students, including the Luna Kaufman Writing and Art Contest,  and our Annual Colloquium for both middle and high school students.

The Luna Kaufman Writing and Art Contest
Named in honor of Luna Kaufman, Holocaust survivor and pioneer in Holocaust Education, our annual contest is open to students in grades 5 through College and includes research, creative writing, and both two and three-dimensional art. Winners in each age category receive a $50 U.S. Savings Bond; all participants receive a certificate of participation. Written entries must be received at Brookdale Community College no later than February 25, 2010. Art entries must be received no later than March 25, 2010.
